Jackson has twenty years of experience leading comprehensive development, policy, government relations, and public affairs projects for clients in Mongolia and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Jackson came to Asia in 2001 to lead democracy-strengthening programs in Mongolia and Cambodia and started his consulting business, Woodmont International, in 2005 where he works to position multi-national companies and large- scale projects for long-term success in some of the region’s most challenging markets.

Jackson served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce from 2015-2018. APCAC is the association of 29 American Chambers of Commerce in Asia and represents the collective interests of over 15,000 American businesses and over 50,000 overseas American executives in the Asia- Pacific region. Jackson is also the Founder of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia – the largest foreign business association in Mongolia. Jackson is from Johnson City, Tennessee and a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville.

Jackson served as the East Tennessee Campaign Chairman for Bill Frist’s successful campaign for United States Senate in 1994 and served as Political Director of Frist’s re-election in 2000. Jackson served as an advisor in the United States Senate office of Senator Frist in Washington, DC office from 1995 until 2001.
